MISA
Before MISA clothing designer Shadi Askari-Farhat pursued a full-time fashion career, she was a businesswoman who sewed handbags from vintage fabric in her free time. In 2001, all that changed when she launched Tbags Los Angeles, a line of boho bags and casual dresses. Fifteen years later, Askari-Farhat introduced follow-up label, MISA (a combination of her two daughters' names, Milla and Sayeh). Equally inspired by exotic travels and nomadic fashion, MISA Los Angeles apparel offers refreshingly feminine designs with free-spirited details, like embroidered rompers, pom-pom bag charms, off-shoulder tops.
