SIKA
London-based designer Phyllis Taylor launched her label Sika with significant meaning behind it—not only is it her mother’s name, but the word derives from the Akan tribe in Ghana, West Africa, meaning "gold". Sourcing and working closely with fabric suppliers, Sika creates and designs its own one-of-a-kind prints. The creative director's penchant for rich colors and bold patterns is threaded through each collection.
